We rolled in to MPR Studios in St-Paul before heading down to 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis. 7th Street Entry is the side club for First Avenue, the venue made famous by Prince in the film Purple Rain.
Even though my debut LP, "Sebastien Grainger & The Mountains" had only come out a month earlier, the band and I had been playing together for almost 2 years already at that point. These performances capture that raw spirit that made playing together transcendent. Big punk-nasty power-pop.
These files have been sitting on hard-drives for ages. I thought they could use some air. Enjoy!
PS: If you enjoy the songs, check out the studio LP on Saddle Creek Records!

This album rocks all the way through. It's hard to pick a favorite song because they're all so damn catchy! I can't wait to hear what they do next! Beefarrito
